Starting our New Zealand process was a simple rainy day in Alaska web surfing. On that day I came across the ACCENT posting. Contact was made and literally within hours Prudence and Ali were back at us. This almost instantaneous response was how things were done for the next five months. These months were filled with amazing amounts of paperwork and through it all was ACCENT to hold our hand and walk us through the process. It was for sure an arduous task satisfying all the paperwork and necessary procedures to come to New Zealand but Ali never faltered in her ability to guide us. We made some mistakes at times but never a harsh or strong word, in fact quite the opposite. We shared laughs about it and by the end of it all we felt we had a friend in New Zealand even before we arrived. We have still not met Ali or Prudence but on a future trip to the South Island we will be sure to look them up, we look forward to it !!!!!

My advice to anyone looking at coming to New Zealand .................................... don't despair about all the hoops you have to jump through because the fruits of your labor will be well worth it ................. believe me. My second word of advice ....... Go with ACCENT, they are the real deal !!!!!!!! I can't praise them enough.

Hello! I'm Lyn, Charlie's wife, and I want to share a few words. First, I must tell you that I LOVE being here in New Zealand. I am very grateful to Ali and Prudence for all their guidance in getting us here and for their outstanding communication throughout the paperwork process. They answered our questions and networked us with other trustworthy professionals who helped set up our bank account and provided invaluable direction with the basic systems of settling into life in a new country. I feel like they included me in everything and were concerned not only with making a hospital placement for Charlie but also with placing us in a location that was conducive to our lifestyle choices. We are now living in the country outside of Whangarei. Our alarm clock is the harmony of birdsongs in our backyard. I am enjoying gardening. . .
and we LOVE hiking, biking, walking on the beaches, and diving during Charlie's time off from work. The locals love sharing their passion about their activities in New Zealand and this is embedded and reflected in the quality of life here. The people are an integral part of our sense of place here and we already feel so at home.

Working with ACCENT was a very personable and comforting way to find work in New Zealand.
