Bronagh - UK Physiotherapist soaking up the views and activities during her days off!
Hi everyone! My Name is Bronagh, I am a physiotherapist from the UK.
I came to NZ in September and the process took me approximately 7-8 months. The easiest part of the process was getting on the plane after seeing pictures of New Zealand. The most challenging part of the process was leaving family and friends behind and the actual registration process for physiotherapy.
My first impressions of NZ were stunning scenery with very friendly people. The best parts of NZ are Tongariro National Alpine Crossing and the view of the beach on a daily basis. It's a bit weird listening to Christmas songs when it's still day light at 8pm and the temperature is well in its 20's!
What I miss the most is family and friends....not to mention galaxy chocolate and proper bacon.
My advice if you are planning to come to NZ is: research your job and the area you want to work in fully. Call Accent Health Recruitment for the most amazing friendly and helpful people to help you and support you through your journey in moving to NZ. v provided amazing personal touches to help make my move a smooth as possible, from transfers from the airport to providing a cell phone to call home, a complete first class company to use!
I have included some images of the spectacular places we have been able to visit since coming, I think you'll agree they are stunning
