Hi! My Name is Jennifer I am a UK Registered Nurse and I came to NZ in October, from sunny UK :)
The process to come to NZ took me about a year. I applied via the Trans-Tasman Mutual Act- as I already had Australian registration.
The easiest part of the process was transferring my Australian to New Zealand registration. The most challenging part of the process was registering with the Australia nursing board!
My first impression of NZ was beautiful and stunning! And the best part of NZ is definitely the South Island!
What I miss the most is: Nothing! Ok, maybe my family and close friends back home.
My advice if you are planning to come to NZ is “Do it!!” It is the best move that I have taken and with no regrets.
